Metal plate attached to stone post by the A6, in parish of Myerscough (Wyre District), Bilsborrow; opposite post office, by the road, on East side of road. Garstang flowing text, erected by the Preston & Garstang turnpike trust in the 19th century. Inscription reads:- : To / Preston / 7 / Miles : : MYERSCOUGH : : To / Garstang / 3¾ / Miles : Rivet benchmark on top. Grade II listed.
