Carved stone post by the B3089, in parish of Barford St Martin (Salisbury District), Hindon Road, 250m East of West entrance to Hurdcott, against hedge, on South side of road. Hindon stone, erected by the Fisherton, Wilton, Heytesbury, Willoughby Hedge & Redhone turnpike trust in the 18th century. Inscription reads:- To SARUM VII To HINDON VIII 1766 Carved benchmark on top. Grade II listed.
