Cast iron post by the B5067, in parish of Baschurch (North Shropshire District), opposite Walford farmhouse, by college, against wall. Erected by the Shrewsbury to Baschurch turnpike trust in the 19th century. Inscription reads:- : SALOP / 7 MILES / TO THE COUNTY HALL : : B.CHURCH / PARISH : : B.
