Stone post (plate lost) by the A27, in parish of Southampton (Southampton District), Bassett Green Road; 100m Northwest of crematorium, on embankment, on North side of road. Botley plate, erected by the Botley turnpike trust in the 19th century. Inscription once read:- (ROMSEY) (6) (BOTLEY) (6) Milestone Society National ID: HA_BORO06
