Stone post (plate lost) by the A292, in parish of Ashford (Ashford District), Hythe Road, by No. 120, as gatepost in retaining wall, on South side of road. Hythe marker, erected by the Faversham to Hythe & Canterbury turnpike trust in the 19th century. Inscription once read:- (Ashford ½) (Hythe 11) Rivet benchmark on top. Kent HER.
