Carved stone post by the A286, in parish of Chichester (Chichester District), between Broadway and the Avenue, opposite Tudor Close, on the verge in front of wall to flats, on East side of road. Chichester stone, erected by the Chichester, Dell Quay & Fernhurst turnpike trust in the 19th century. Inscription reads:- (Chichester 1) (London 60) Carved benchmark on front near base. Milestone Society National ID: SX_CCMD01
