Carved stone post by the A3102, in parish of Calne Without (North Wiltshire District), Mile Elm, Milestone Cottage, by the road, on West side of road. Calne stone, erected by the Calne turnpike trust in the 19th century. Inscription reads:- : 1 / MILE TO / CALNE : : 7 / MILES / FROM / DEVIZES : Grade II listed.
