Metal plate attached to stone post by the A429, in parish of Chedworth (Cotswold District), North of Foss Cross, 150m North of The Hare & Hounds PH, in undergrowth, on West side of road. Stow iron plate erected by the Foss & Cross (Stow on the Wold) turnpike trust in the 19th century. Inscription reads:- STOW. 13 CIRENᴿ, 6 BATH. 39 Carved benchmark on lower face. Grade II listed.
