Carved stone post by the A259, in parish of Fishbourne (Chichester District), Milestone Cottages, as gate post - 2 is not original, on North side of road. Cosham marker, erected by the Cosham to Chichester turnpike trust in the 19th century. Inscription reads:- 2 Milestone Society National ID: SX_CCHV02
