Carved stone post by the A3102, in parish of Hilmarton (North Wiltshire District), Swindon Road, Goatacre, 100m North of lane to New Zealand, in side of deep ditch, on West side of road. Hilamarton stone, erected by the Calne, Lynham & Hillmarton turnpike trust in the 19th century. Inscription reads:- TO SWINDON 12 MILES FROM CALNE 4 MILES Grade II listed.
