Carved stone post by the UC road (was A28), in parish of Sturry (Canterbury District), High Street, on forecourt of Swan Inn, in tarmac, on West side of road. Ramsgate limestone diamond, erected by the Canterbury & Ramsgate Second District turnpike trust in the 19th century. Inscription reads:- : RAMSGATE / 14 : : LONDON / 58 : Kent HER.
