Carved stone post by the A283, in parish of Chiddingfold (Waverley District), Wormley, by Milestone Cottage, in hedge beside drive, on West side of road. Petworth stone, erected by the Petworth turnpike trust in the 19th century. Inscription reads:- HYDE PARK CORNER 36 MILES PETWORTH 11 MILES GODALMING 4 MILES CHIDDINGFOLD 2 MILES Milestone Society National ID: SY_LMP36
