Milestone by the UC road (was A570), in parish of Rainford (St Helens District), Hill Foot, St Helens Road, in hedge, just North of No. 1 at bottom of road, near junction with the A570, on Southeast side of road, partially buried. Lancs. CC stone triangle, erected by the County Council in the 19th/20th century. Inscription reads:- : ORMSKIRK / (8) : : RAINFORD : : ST.
