Carved stone post by the A3079, in parish of Okehampton Hamlets (West Devon District), 20m East of small bridge at bottom of hill, 300m West of drive to Yelland Farm, on grass verge, very near road edge, on North side of road. Okehampton small tombstone erected by the Okehampton turnpike trust in the 18th century. Inscription reads:- OKETON 3 Miles Carved benchmark and rivet on top. Devon & Dartmoor HER.
