Stone post (plate lost) by the UC road, in parish of Kingsbury Episcopi (South Somerset District), Thorney village, South of Thorney Bridge, on grass verge opposite Willow Cottage, on West side of road. LSCC iron plate, erected by the Langport, Somerton & Castle Cary turnpike trust in the 19th century. Inscription once read:- (Langport 3) (Crewkerne 10) Somerset HER.
