Cast iron post by the A1101, in parish of Upwell (Kings Lynn and West Norfolk District), North of Mudds Drove, opposite house with wrought iron gates, in the verge, on West side of road. Wisbeach-V, erected by the Littleport to Welney (Northwest District) turnpike trust in the 19th century. Inscription reads:- : WISBEACH / 9 : : UPWELL : : ELY / 15 : Norfolk HER.
