The milestone is located on the North side of road 25 metres West of the entrance to Sovereign Building Services, against the hedge on the footpath. Cast iron post, Bristol Trust iron casting design, erected by the Bristol turnpike trust in the 19th century. Inscription reads:- : TO / CROSS / 3 :: 1837 :: BRISTOL TURNPI(KE TRUST) :: TO / BRIDGEWATER / 13 : Grade II listed by Historic England.
