Carved stone post by the A590, in parish of Staveley in Cartmel (South Lakeland District), North of Ayside, on grass verge, on West side of road. Lancs. CC stone triangle, erected by the County Council in the 19th/20th century. Inscription reads:- : TO / ULVERSTON 11 MLS / BARROW 19¼ " : : STAVELEY : : TO / GRANGE 4¾ MLS / KENDAL 15 " / LANCASTER 26 " : Milestone Society National ID: LA_LABA26.
