The chemist shop here is no 28 Claremont Hill, and dates from 1724, when it was originally built as a house. It was Grade II listed https://britishlistedbuildings.co.uk/101271063-including-cobbled-area-in-front-shrewsbury#.XJiFmSj7RPY in 1953, a listing which includes the rather unusual cobblestones area outside the shopfront.
