Stone post (plate lost) by the A28, in parish of Boughton Aluph (Ashford District), Canterbury Road, just North of Boughton Corner, in hedge next to small tree, on West side of road. Ashford marker, erected by the Faversham to Hythe & Canterbury turnpike trust in the 19th century. Inscription once read:- (CANTERBURY) (10) (ASHFORD) (4) Kent HER.
