Carved stone post by the UC road, in parish of Wonston (Winchester District), North of Cranbourne Grange, by the road, on East side of road. Hartford limestone diamond, erected by the Stockbridge & Basingstoke turnpike trust in the 18th century. Inscription reads:- : TO / (STOCKBRID)GE / (9) : : LONDON / 58 : : (TO / BASINGSTOKE / 12) : Carved benchmark and rivet on top. Grade II listed.
