Carved stone post by the A119, in parish of HERTFORD (EAST HERTFORDSHIRE District), North Road, near Goldings, on the verge, on West side of road. Watton stone, erected by the Watton turnpike trust in the 19th century. Inscription reads:- XXVI MILES FROM LONDON Carved benchmark on right face. Grade II listed.
