Carved stone post by the B6527 (was A56), in parish of HASLINGDEN (ROSSENDALE District), Ewood Bridge, East of bridge, on South side of road. Erected by the Elton & Blackburn turnpike trust in the 19th century. Inscription once read:- : (Haslingden / 2) : : (Bury / 6) : Milestone Society National ID: LA_BYHS06.
