Cast iron post by the A1167 (was A1), in parish of Ancroft (Berwick-upon-Tweed District), Scremerston, in hedge by lamp-post, on East side of road. BEL/BER L top iron post, erected by the Berwick, Norham & Islandshires turnpike trust in the 19th century. Inscription reads:- : BEL / 12½ : : L / 332 : : BER / 2 : (To Belford, London and Berwick) Northumberland HER.
