Concrete post by the B6527 (was A56), in parish of HASLINGDEN (ROSSENDALE District), Manchester Road, Haslingden; 600m North of Ewood Bridge, against wall, on West side of road. Erected by the Haslingden & Todmorden turnpike trust in the 20th century. Inscription reads vertically:- : (TO) / HASLINGDEN / 1½ MILES : : (TO) / BURY / 7 MILES : Carved benchmark and pivot on top. Milestone Society National ID: LA_BYHS07.
