Metal plate attached to stone post by the A659, in parish of BOSTON SPA (LEEDS District), High Street, near Lees Orchard, on pavement near lamp post LP18, on North side of road. WR iron casting, erected by the County Council in the 19th century. Inscription reads:- : TADCASTER / 4 / MILES : : TADCASTER & OTLEY / ROAD / CLIFFORD / CUM / BOSTON : : WETHERBY / 3¼ MILES / HAREWOOD / 7 MILES / OTLEY / 15¼ MILES : Grade II listed.
