Stone post (plate lost) by the UC road, in parish of KINGSBURY EPISCOPI (SOUTH SOMERSET District), New Cross Road junction, North of West Lambrook, in hedge beside road, on North side of road. LSCC iron plate, erected by the Langport, Somerton & Castle Cary turnpike trust in the 19th century. Inscription once read:- (Langport) (6) (Crewkerne) (7) Somerset HER.
