Carved stone post by the A59, in parish of BILLINGTON AND LANGHO (RIBBLE VALLEY District), Longsight Road, Cunliffe House Wood, on South side of road. Erected by the Clitheroe to Blackburn & Mellor Brook turnpike trust in the 19th century. Inscription reads:- TO {hand->} (P)RESTON 11 MILES {<-hand} TO WHALLEY 2¾ MILES Milestone Society National ID: LA_PSCL11.
