Carved stone plaque by the UC road, in parish of HAMPSTEAD (CAMDEN District), Hampstead High Street, opposite No. 5, set in brick retaining wall (access restricted by fence). Erected by the Marylebone to Finchley Road turnpike trust in the 19th century. Inscription reads:- 3½ MI(LES) St Giles Bound 4 Miles from Holborn B(ars) Grade II listed.
