The milestone is located 100m south of the junction with Ballards Hill / Goudhurst Road, on the verge on the east side of the road. Parish of Goudhurst (Tunbridge Wells District). Carved stone post, Kippings Cross stone design, erected by the Kippings Cross & Wilsley Pond turnpike trust in the 19th century. Inscription reads:- XXXX / III / (To London) Milestone Society National ID: KE_LCR43
