Cast iron post by the B5017, in parish of MARCHINGTON (EAST STAFFORDSHIRE District), Stubby Lane, South of Marchington village, on the verge, on West side of road. Lathe iron casting, erected by the County Council in the 19th/20th century. Inscription reads:- : MARCHINGTON / ½ / UTTOXETER 4 : : MARCHINGTON : : BURTON 10 : Maker:- : Chas.
