Carved stone post by the A4175, in parish of OLDLAND (SOUTH GLOUCESTERSHIRE District), Bath Road, North Common; 50m South of Southway Drive, on wide verge, on West side of road. Bristol Bath stone, erected by the Bristol turnpike trust in the 19th century. Inscription reads:- TO BATH 8 MILES Carved benchmark top centre with rivet on top. Milestone Society National ID: GL_BAFY08.
