Stone post (plate lost) by the A5013, in parish of ECCLESHALL (STAFFORD District), Walton (replaced by cast iron Milepost: ST_STNW05 https://www.geograph.org.uk/photo/6098616), in bank, on Southwest side of road. Old Staffs stone, erected by the Stafford, Sandon, Eccleshall turnpike trust in the 19th century. Inscription reads:- (??) Township Carved benchmark on face. Staffordshire HER.
