Old AA and Motor Union Sign on the north facing wall of Bredon Pottery on the south side of the B4080 Main Road, Bredon, 3 miles northeast of Tewkesbury. Bredon parish. This is the winged badge type, not circular but similar to a car badge, erected by AA & Motor Union at bottom, dating from 1910 and showing distances Tewkesbury 3¼ Pershore 7 London 106½. There were five series of AA signs, mostly dating from 1923 and made by Francis & Co / Franco in Deptford, London. The village name and distance to London were usually displayed.
