Pair of buildings on London Road, marked on old maps as York Parade. The taller building in the centre, no 92, dates from around 1790 and is now a hotel, the Edward Hotel. It is grade II listed - see www.historicengland.org.uk/listing/the-list/list-entry/1245736. The stuccoed terrace beyond, York Buildings, described in the Pevsner guide as "unassuming", dates from 1827 and is also grade II listed - see historicengland.org.uk/listing/the-list/list-entry/1245735.
