The original Prince of Wales Hotel was demolished at the turn of the millennium and was rebuilt. It was also re-named as the 'Daffodil Hotel' (much to the annoyance of many locals!). Luckily, the demolition didn't extend to the staff quarters, which is where this BM was cut, back in the day. But the corner upon which the BM was cut was altered and the hole on the outside of the corner was filled in and painted white.
