Designed by the architects Skidmore Owings & Merrill, the 35 storey tower and 13 storey curved block are scheduled for completion by British Land in 2008, and will provide 822,000 square feet of office space. The tower, which is a parallelogram in plan, is being built on a raft weighing 6,000 tonnes over the railway tracks that run to Liverpool Street Station. The tower is designed to be 164.3 metres (539 feet) above ground level.
