With an archway at either end, this courtyard houses various service buildings for the big house. The warm-coloured walls are characteristic of the village. On this day it had been made available as a car park for those attending the funeral of Tom Gibson, former vicar of Badminton, in the parish and estate church of St Michael and All Angels nearby.
