How the mighty have fallen! This used to be the main A21 from Hastings to London. But on the building of the M25, the A21 was diverted to join the M25 between junctions 5 and 4, leaving this stretch unclassified. It is still well used by local traffic, though, both as a slightly more direct route from the A224 from Badgers Mount to the A21 towards Bromley, avoiding the busy Hewitts Roundabout, and also for access to Knockholt Station (see Image)
