Carved stone post by the B6050, in parish of SADDLEWORTH (OLDHAM District), Stockport Road junction with Poplar Avenue, in wall opposite High Quick Farm entrance, on West side of road, inset into garden wall. Erected by an unknown authority in the 19th century. Defaced inscription reads:- TO (ASHTON) 4 MILES TO NEW HOUSES 1¼ Milestone Society National ID: YW_SRAS04b.
