Hillfield Nursery is an independent, family owned business set in 30 acres set in 30 acres, with 19 different fruits to pick in season and 200 different apple varieties. The tree (Claygate Pearmain) seen in the foreground is adorned with mistletoe. Mistletoe remains in high demand, particularly in areas outside its natural range, and the specimen depicted here are cultivated as a sideline to the main nursery business.
