The Flurry River

Here the Flurry River, which forms part of the land border between the UK and Ireland, flows through an area of wetland. Beyond the river is the N1, which a few miles further South becomes the M1. It has just crossed the international border on the extreme left, changing its designation from A1 to N1. Between the lorry and the gantry is the disused Irish Customs compound on the R132 (Dublin Road). The hills in the background are in Northern Ireland.
