Cast iron post by the A49, in parish of SHAWBURY (NORTH SHROPSHIRE District), North of Hadnall, by car sales, by the road, on East side of road. Shawbury post, erected by the County Council in the 19th century. Inscription reads:- : SHREWSBURY / 6 : : SALOP : : WHITCHURCH / 13½ : Shropshire HER.
