Carved stone post by the A308, in parish of TEDDINGTON AND HAMPTON (RICHMOND UPON THAMES District), Upper Sunbury Road, West of Percy Street, in hedge at back of path, on North side of road. Erected by the Staines & Hampton turnpike trust in the 19th century. Inscription reads:- : HAMPTON / COURT / BRIDGE / I MILE / VI / FURLONGS / KINGSTON / (BRIDGE / III / MILES) : : SUNBURY / I / MILE / STAINES / VI / MILES / (WINDSOR / XII / MILES) : Milestone Society National ID: MX_STHP06.
