Old AA and Motor Union Sign on the west facing stone wall of a converted barn on the east side of the A4113 High Street, in Leintwardine, 7 miles west of Ludlow. Leintwardine parish. This is the circular, village name on black band, Motor Union either side of AA badge at top type, showing distances Kington 8¼ Ludlow 8¾ London 150¾. Not visible on Google Street View. There were five series of AA signs, mostly dating from 1923 and made by Francis & Co / Franco in Deptford, London. The village name and distance to London were displayed.
