A survivor of the painted wooden fingerposts used by Worcestershire County Council after the Worbouys signage came in. They were also used for a short while after the takeover of Herefordshire by the Hereford and Worcester Council. Most have rotted away, but you can still find examples, especially in Herefordshire where they would have been installed after 1975. In their day they were very neat and elegant, fortunately a similar style is still employed in Devon.
