Upstream along the Rye

The Rye is only a small river, but with its many tributaries and feeder becks it drains a large area of the eastern side of the Hambleton Hills and the southern part of the moors before joining the Derwent near Malton. A rather attractive alder stands in the centre of this view upstream.
