Stone post (plate lost) by the UC road, in parish of CHILWORTH (TEST VALLEY District), Hut Hill; by 'Northerndene', opposite Birch Road/Hutwood Road, by the road, back to high wooden fence, on East side of road. IRS iron plate, erected by the Southampton, North District turnpike trust in the 19th century. Plate missing 15.12.06 Inscription once read:- (Cartouche of reversed R and a B and date 1786) Maker:- (IRS Ltd. Norfolk.) Milestone Society National ID: HA_WISO08
