Municipal Boundary Marker against a stone wall on the west side of the A6 Slyne Road beside a modern City of Lancaster, Slyne with Hest sign. This location was in Skerton parish until 1900, and in Slyne with Hest parish until 1935 when it became the boundary of Lancaster borough and Slyne with Hest. Inscription reads:- LANCASTER CORPORATION 1935 ---- BOROUGH BOUNDARY Surveyed Milestone Society National ID: LA_LAN01pb
