Carved stone post by the A35, in parish of LYNDHURST (NEW FOREST District), Offices, opposite house named 'Rydal', in gorse, on South side of road. Erected by the Lymington, Lyndhurst & Rumbridge turnpike trust in the 19th century. Inscription reads:- : 9 / To / LYMINGTON : : 9 / To / SOUTHAMPTON : Milestone Society National ID: HA_SOLH09.
